More Than A Café

Cherries at Abbey Farm is an award-winning café, restaurant and event venue set in the beautiful village of Abbotsbury by the Jurassic Coast. Full of charm and fairy lights, we serve delicious food made from scratch, with an ever-changing menu that celebrates fresh, local produce. From our signature customer favourites to exciting new dishes, exceptional BeanPress Coffee from Ben at his local roastery, and a counter full of homemade cakes, our café is all about flavour, warmth, community and an extraordinary dining experience.

We are incredibly proud to have been recognised for what we do, having received the Dorset Tourism Award in 2025 for Best Café & Tearoom, as well as being honoured with Taste of the West awards multiple times.

Alongside our food and drink offering, we host a wide range of regular and one-off events that bring people together. These include our monthly Community Breakfast Club, our friendly dog-walking group Cherries Muddy Paws, monthly tapas nights and relaxed street food evenings.

We also organise and run major events at Abbey Farm, including the Abbey Farm Summer Festival over the August Bank Holiday and the much-loved Abbey Farm Christmas Fair, welcoming visitors from near and far.

We support local suppliers and our local communities, host vibrant events and welcome everyone with a smile, a friendly chat, and often a biscuit or two for four-legged visitors.
